About Us

MidAtlantic Design Corporation is a new media firm owned and operated by Kimberly Bean and backed by a network of web and new media designers, developers, photographers, writers and programmers. All have years of demonstrated experience in the industry.

Her passion for design and new media prompted Kimberly to start her company in 1997. Exposed to the ever-developing Internet marketing arena, she has challenged herself in finding creative ways to keep up with current marketing trends and technologies.

Her main focus is Internet marketing strategies like e-mail marketing, search engine optimization, website design and development and Internet consultation. She and her staff work hard to serve their clients. “It is my personal goal to provide quality deliverables. If you’re paying for a service, you should be completely satisfied. That’s why I work closely with my clients, so I can meet their expectations and, maybe, exceed them.”

Kimberly received a Master Certificate in Web Design and Development from EEI Communications (www.eeicommunications.com) in Alexandria, Va., and is a Certified Web Development Professional. She also holds a Master Certificate in Streaming Media from EEI’s Desktop Video Institute.

Kimberly is a member of the International Webmasters Association, Charles County Technology Council, DC Web Women, and the Charles County Chamber of Commerce.

Major contributors

Cori Shaw Meloney has several years of experience in writing and web design and development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in newspaper journalism from Syracuse University and earned a master’s degree in technical communication with a concentration in graphics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Before moving to Maryland, Cori was an online producer for the websites of the Albany (N.Y.) Times Union newspaper.

Christine George is an award-winning graphic designer and artist whose work has included projects for Coca-Cola, V8 and Dole. She has taught at The Academy of Art College in San Francisco and was the administrative chair of design for the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. Christine currently teaches courses for both schools while designing for local businesses and pursuing her love of fine art and horses. See more of her work at www.christinesart.com.
